Hem Budget Hotel is comprised of private twin rooms with all necessary facilities – shower, toilet, tv, phone, wardrobe in the room.

Price is unbeatable in the Netherlands for housing to this proximity of Amsterdam (a small time feet from the central station, 20 minutes from the Van Gogh Museum, and ten minutes from the Vondelpark).
However provide GPS / plan or taxi to get to the hotel, because it is not on the major axes.
The Chamber is the level of a formula 1 in France, if not for heating, which was non-existent at night...
Cleanliness is fair, it is not a 3 star, but sanitary as bedding were clean.
Some people report that the room service was the morning and returned without hitting. Having used to block my door at night (with a piece of furniture), I did not have this problem.
Staff was charming, the gentleman in the service of cleaning the receptionist, speaking perfect English, and are quite willing to inform the tourist seeking to go to such and such place.
Beds can be reconciled, and the rooms have TV as well as electrical outlets.
The toilets are equipped with SOAP, shower gel and towels.

To see comments from people I panic a bit, but luckily we did not case and tested. The room was clean and daily including Sunday cleaned and changed the sheets. There were television and at least picked first and telemadrid. Not into cold inside. There was a small table, a table and a small closet. The toilet was clean and we had hot water and shower. If, in the corridors had mattresses, but more if they weren't in the room. It is somewhat away from the Center, but tram arrive in 20 minutes and the bus stop is 5 minutes walk in which also is the night bus that is a privilege for the night bus does not stop at all stops of the city. The metro stop is 10 minutes walk. The side have an Ldl and an Albert, a greengrocer and some local where you can eat. For this price, does that more can you ask for.? If you want something luxurious, then pay for it. If Amsterdam (that doubt it in that if they have banned smoking foreigners do not think again) I would stay at this Inn if you continue having these prices. That at least when I went, nothing smells, so nothing of cold in the room and tranquility. In short the stay was pleasant

Let's see, I not be why people complain and more for this price with private room and wc private because we're going to see 10€ the night Friday and Saturday and 7.5€ the will on Sunday and Monday and above in Amsterdam with the expensive que és.... not be wait a jacuzzi and massage room. My friend and I looking at the comments of people gave us a little bit afraid to go to this hostel but decided to go to this hotel for the price. When we arrived we found the room clean and perfect. The rest of the days spent equal, it's more, all day including Sunday passed the guy from cleaning to clean rooms and vacuum and to change bed linen and towels. Not toward plague to urine, quiet, comfortable rooms, with good heating, two chairs was and a small table, a mirror, a wardrobe, beds were clean and well with your toilet, your shower and your stack. Had tv in addition one could see the TVE and Telemadrid (at least is something lol xq understood what you said.) In the aisle if is truth that had mattresses and say I: does and that passes that have mattresses, to case are inside your room. They bother you? If you are 20 minutes from the Centre by tram, but the stop you have 5 minutes and you have a night bus which for the same tram stop and not in the city for the night bus so close. Well the personal ambale. We see that more you can ask for this price. I think people are very exaggerated and anything else you can not ask luxuries at that price, if you want luxuries go to a hotel. In short stay, good value for money and if I return to Amsterdam (I do not think again by that not residents already can smoke them from 2012, that they do not make the law, will not be anyone while the city is very nice, but the public is going to what goes Hahaha) but if I come back and keep these prices do not doubt that I'll ever go to this hostel

It is a small hotel for the price if this biem, a little dirty, but connects very well with the tram Centre, has the open kitchen of the reception until 4 o'clock in the morning, it has a restaurant that also can ask for food, and that if very cheap to rest only this well but want to spend lots of money on accommodation and what you want is to enjoy the city.

Perfect, step dear and well located (tram stop) + night 5 minutes bus and bus to 2 minutes. Hotel quiet, 20minutes from the city by public transport centre.
I advise you even if this is not the luxury... but given the price, it's altogether worth!

We have paid €170 for a week... And it's the awsome! The rooms are located in a prefabricated in front of the hotel. In couple, we have had the right to two separate single beds... Worthy of a mobil home bathroom and I speak not the smell of urine... Is not ventilated box (VMC) which is that we had the fogging and condensation around the House after having taken our showers. Room service is spent the first 2 days. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed. People in the corridor be echoed in the House and were shaking the ground. We also particularly meant neighbours - excuse me expression - "forniquer"! And no heating (Yes we have not had very good weather and even for a month of August, we had cold). The rooms are non-smokers which is a little embettant to Amsterdam. Parking is not safe, in a week we could see two panes of broken cars.
However, the hotel is located quite easily but is 20-25 minutes from the train station by tram line 2. We should pass in front of a building of a visitation of the poor. I advise strongly advise you to stay on the sidewalk on the other side. We have not tested the restaurant of the hotel but the stand of food in the home is open 24 hours with products enough déviersifiés and for that we took, not bad. Rates are not unreasonable for a tourism city.
In summary, the hotel is OK but rooms and more sordid. They vallaient well their price and it is for this reason that we have not too râlé. But do not expect luxury!

Don't expect luxury in this hotel, far from it. The rooms are located in a prefabricated step very welcoming. They are not very clean. Bedding and bathroom are just fair. Only advantage, price. Short, it's not beautiful, it is not pleasant, but it's not expensive. By against, big problem when the "room service" knock 2 hours from the mat'!?!

Attempt of burglary first evening.
The staff is execrable, wakes us every morning without knocking.
The bathroom was dirty, and flooded all the week.
Avoid surrendering there, it is a shame!

avantages : une chambre simple mais confortable
inconvénient : il faut cependant compter 20 minutes de tramway, ligne 2 pour aller dans le centre ville. Le ticket de tramway est 2,60€ ( plutôt cher !!)
NB : l'arrêt pour se rendre à l'hotel est "westland#####"

Rude receptionist (at least one of them), confusion about the room and the payment; they didn't inform us at our arrival that we had to notify them if we wanted to pay with cash. The cleaningstaff left the windows open, we stayed at the ground floor so anyone could get in through the window and it was very cold in the room when we returned. They also left the lights on.

I lived with my friend in a very fine room! The place matched the pictures on the website, it seemed soundproof, it was very cosy to watch television in the morning and the cleaning was great; we had everything we needed.
The only thing that doesn't worked was the heat in the room, but after a friendly conversation with the receptionist, we got a radiator right away.
There was a couple of small stains on the wall - in the room and in the bathroom - but it actually didn't really matters.
It was great to live near tram (2) and Vondelpark, but it would have been even better if it was a bit closer to inner Amsterdam.
Overall, thank you Hem Budget Hotel for a nice and cheap stay...

EL hotel no es centrico pero tiene buena comunicacion con el centro ya que la parada de tranvia esta a unos 5-10 minutos andando.
El personal del hotel muy amable.
Las habitaciones dejan un poco que desear, la estufa no nos funcionaba, el baño de pena y el suelo y las paredes finisimas por lo que se escuchan todos los ruidos de las habitaciones de al lado y del pasillo.
El precio podia ser mas barato para ser un albergue......

Idealement situé (20 metres d'une station de metro), c'est ce qu'il faut si on n'est pas trop regardant. Le batiment de reception est niquel, mais celui où se trouvent les chambres est un vrai labyrinthe, et ressemble a un préfabriqué. Les sanitaires sont pour autant sans problemes

We are not stayed that night. Main building quite comfortable and distinguished, the part "auberge" is a building opposite a little rude. Rooms for very small 4, own bathroom but without more room. The staff is not especially warm, see quite remote.

Main building clean and welcoming, pleasant staff but filthy rooms in a prefabricated: condom users, pieces of cheese and cotton swabs dirty found between the beds. In addition, nor TV nor lamps and heating work and the shower was moldy. Only advantage, price (but all take a formula 1).
