Afordable youth hostel, nearby the train station of Birmingham.
All is made to make you welcome.
The dormitory is small but ok (we were 6 guys).
The breakfast was quite good.
My room/bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. All my roommates on both nights were very nice; bar one, who was tired and cranky. But we were okay.
Into every life a little rain must fall - she was very young, I am quite old.

Staff were friendly. The room was clean and so was the toilet. Good value for money! Would definitely come again.
I was welcomed by very friendly staff on arrival,
the place was clean and atmospheric, I would visit this place again and I would have no hesitations recommending this anyone. There is a lounge area with widescreen TV and kitchen area for guest to cook their own food and drinks. It is 1 mile from Birmingham City Centre. The beds were clean and comfortable.
We spent a great day in Birmingham thanks to the hostel. People were nice, the place is in the center and the ambience is cool. The price is perfect for young people without a lot of resources.
A very clean hostel, with a nice and quiet atmosfear. I love the breakfast room overlooking the roofs of Birmingham! Free computers with Internet available, which is nice since many hostels make you pay for the privilege. The only very minor draw back is the location. It is a tad removed from the city centre, although B'ham is so small you won't have to walk much. I will definitely come back at this address should I come back to B'ham!
The staff on the desk were lovely. I was lucky enough to share a bunk room with considerate people however the whole place seemed relatively quiet, especially after 11. Breakfast included a range of cereals and toast with a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere
Nestled within the picturesque Lickey Hills in 25 acres of its own attractive grounds, just a short distance from Birmingham and offers excellent facilities including Wi-Fi access and ample parking.
We were looking for accommodation for a large group of students and only had a week to find something. This hotel was available and provided very nice, clean rooms and excellent facilities. Staff were helpful and accommodating and made our stay very enjoable. The bar menu was extensive and the food was very nice.
A very comfortable, family run B&B, close to Birmingham City Centre, Broad Street and New Street Station. Top 5 reasons to stay with us: 1) Attentive & friendly service; 2) Best beds in the business 3) Free Broadband internet &...
I would definitely recommend this place to other travellers! Service was impeccable and we felt very comfortable staying here. The owner acted immediately to try and rectify the problem when he realised that we could not obtain wifi from our rooms! Environment was mostly smoke free and the neighbourhood was pretty quiet.
The downsides are that you have to carry your own luggage up the stairs due to the lack of lifts. Payment policies weren't very clear as well and they charged my credit card even though I had intended to pay in cash upon arrival.
Overall, location-wise it's slightly outside the city but travel into the city centre is very convenient, not to mention that there are pretty decent food places in the neighbourhood!
This is a get what you pay for establishment. The price was what we wanted to pay for the time we were in Birmingham. The room was clean, well equipped, secure and bed was comfortable. The price included a continental breakfast which was substantial and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Should we have need to stay in the area again then this would probably be the place. A definite recommendation for those on a budget.
