About Hostal Muntaner
Our B&B is set in an ideal location in the prestigious city-centre district of Eixample. Here is where Gaudi built his famous buildings – the pride of Barcelona.
We offer a really personal service to each of our guests, creating a home-like atmosphere. Our rooms are spacious and bright and cater for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. Most rooms also have a private bathroom, TV, towels and linen. There’s no curfew so you can explore Barcelona at your own pace.
We’re about eight minutes’ walk from the famous Gaudi structures of 'Casa Batlló', 'Casa Mila' and of course the well known 'Sagrada Familia'- the most original cathedral in the world. It’s about 12 minutes from here to Las Ramblas and the Square of Catalunya, meaning you can easily and quickly visit the most famous sites of Barcelona from here.

Directions
In order to get to the Guesthouse from the Airport there are two options
You can take a train from the airport which goes to the train station 'Barcelona -Sants'
From there you should take the metro. Blue Line - L5. Your metro station where you should go out is 'Hospital Clinic'
From the metro station till our Property it is a 1 street walk upwards and 1 street on the right.
2. If you arrive to the train station of 'Barcelona-Sants' you should take the metro.Blue line L5. your metro station is 'Hospital Clinic'. The Property is on the next parallel street.
3. If you arrive to the Airport of Girona.
There would be a direct bus from the airport to Barcelona.
The bus arrives to the bus station 'Estacion Nord'
Going out by the principal exit door the next street in front of you is 'Ausias Marc'
On this street take the bus 54. You should go out on the 10th bus stop. Out Guesthouse is within 2 minute walk from there.

What that disappointments when at this hostel. It must be conceded that the price is low. However may be a few surprises: approaches all the Manager speaks only Spanish and not necessarily in a very clear way. This adds the inability to use the kitchen.
An advantage however is the fact that a grocery store is located just next to the hostel.

It is very basic hostel purpose for this price is ok. The location is not too bad eaither (only IP 10 mins by metro to city centre). Not the cleanest hostel i ever been to but not disaster. The security is a question mark though. I have left my laptop in the room while walking around and nobody touched purpose i am still not convinced that this is the most secure place. I suggest you keep your Lichen stuff with you all the time.

Hi, here is our very positive to Hostal Muntaner comments or we passes 2 nights very enjoyable. The House and the beds are clean, although the owner speaks only Spanish, but they are very nice and warm. In fact, we have nothing a complain about our choice. We hope to return again to Barcelona and review people to the hostel.
