Very good home, well maintained rooms, secure location.
Easy access with stop of tram close, if not a few minutes walk from downtown (about 15, 20 minutes).
I recommend this youth hostel.

I went in January and I liked! the room was not too dirty... it was my first youth hostel and I was expecting a worse... some coverage was dirty then I do not have them use... Otherwise, the small basement common room is pleasant and well maintained! the home people are nice too! the hotel is a little far however from the centre of amsterdam and the red light district (a good 20 minute walking). But if you like walk, you will love!

the hostel is clean but poorly organized the arrival time was not respect not not advised us on the operation of the hostel (breakfast....) it we ask more pay to leave our luggage 2 h in a corridor.
Anyways poor home, bad organization, low range (no hot water one morning), room equipped with the strict minimum.
for that price I would not recommend this hostel but rather a hotel that'd be more profitable

Este albergue es la poya, el recpecionista nos dejo sobar donde se desayuna un dia k no abiamos pagado y ibamos a dormir en la kalle xq no tniamos pasta, nos guardo las maletas y todo! esta perfe situao si t aliklas una bici k alli es lo k ace todo el mundo! esta perfe y barato y en el desayuno t mofas.

El sitio deja mucho than desear, las rooms chocas con el de la otra cama y mejor los baños... risen No. tan caras his las cortinas ducha in Holanda?aconsejaría con ducharse neopreno was parte de por supuesto con chanclas!
El desayuno deja mucho than desear, sobre todo cuando el hotel esta lleno ya hay as levantarse muy pronto qe si quieres pillar sitio y si no quieres estar encima los trabajadores para que te den las cosas cuando is acaban.
He decir mejora cuando todo sales por la puerta y ves lo genial es la ciudad!Sin duda lo aconsejo a todo el mundo, pero if podeis ir a otro hotel mucho mejor!
PD.Cuidado con las escaleras!jejeje

auberge pas trop mal située mais elle reste chère pour les services rendus!
chambre pas très propre (mais on à déjà vu pire). Chose agréable pour une auberge à AMsterdam c'est qu'il ya un espace pour cuisiner. Peu équipé (juste un micro onde et un frigo) mais plaisant vu les prix parfois affichés dans les resto hollandais!
accueils très agréable et serviable! attention verifiez les factures!!!! bon séjour

The hostel was far too overcrowded and wasn't very clean. Also on leaving the hostel I discovered a mouse living under my bed! Although breakfast was provided it was difficult to find a seat as the hostel was full so on both mornings to save the hassle I skipped breakfast. I think the hostel could benefit from a bigger area to socialise as there are no chairs in the rooms and the kitchen is small.
Although the hostel wasn't that great it was in a lovely location (easy to get to from the train station) and the staff were very helpful but I don't think I would stay there again.

The hostel was overcrowded and not very clean. The beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses were too small for the bed frame. Also there was a mouse living under my bed. There was no cooking facilities and although we were told that breakfast would be provided, there was no room to get a seat. Although the hostel wasn't that great it was in a really nice area.
