About Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg

This new Hi hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighborhood. The city’s must-see attractions are but a fifteen-minute cycle or tram trip away (tram stops only 200 mtrs from the hostel, 10 min to Rembrandt Square). Take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world famous museums or head off shopping along the colorful Kalverstraat and there’s always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening!

Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg is housed in an amazing building: a former school dating from around 1900. This enables visitors to enjoy the ultra-modern facilities in classical settings. The hostel is ideally suited to accommodate (large) groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building. The bedrooms are all spacious, featuring private sanitary facilities. All rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet. Stayokay has its own café/restaurant and will be sharing the building with a cinema and theatre – a truly fantastic entertainment combination!

Hostel just perfect. The rooms are clean, very hearty and very good breakfast (included in the price). This hostel is located 10 minutes from the city centre by bus or tram. Very good quality/price ratio.

You can be in a cheap hostel, with a really good breakfast (included in the price) and the people it's really nice with you earlier they give you a lot of information.

It's a little bit far of the center of the city, but Amsterdam has a good public transportation!

Very good comfort!

The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day.

Beautiful home space to rest and meet other people.

Free Wi - fi is very easy to use unlike some hostels.

The food is of quality.

Only negative note, the prohibition of eating his personal meals even in the restaurant space. We are therefore obliged to eat on the forecourt, sometimes in the rain.

The evening meal is also expensive, €14 per meal per person

Good points - helpful friendly staff.

Bad points - toilets and shower in room means more disturb sleep, when someone else uses throughout the night.

-music (not good music either) everywhere. Why not without, particularly at breakfast?

-(just happened that every night I had a loud snorer or two in the room, and many came in to the dorm at 1 am, 2 am, 3 am, turning lights on, making noise, no. care for others sleeping.) Also one night with loud shouting/party Spanish girls(with_very_bad_language_as_well) in next dorm, no. sleep at all that night) Breakfast very bland (and I eat most things) Would not advise others to stay there.

Well appointed hostel with friendly staff. Room was clean, and public spaces were airy and generally a nice place to be. Only flaw is the location: too far away from the centre.

Very good stay, the hostel is very well located close to the tram and close to a parking lot relay.

The staff is nice, well kept rooms, proposed breakfast is correct.

More many services are available for the home including the purchase of Transit tickets, tickets of museums.
